Veracious is likely to line-up in the Group One Qatar Sussex Stakes on her next appearance.
The Sir Michael Stoute trained four year-old filly, landed a first career Group One, when landing the Tattersalls Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket on Friday.
Speaking on Racing TV’s Luck On Sunday programme, Stoute indicated that Veracious could now take on the colts in the Goodwood showpiece.
He said: “She had no travel and got a lovely ride. She’s come out of the race well.
“She’ll probably now go for the Sussex. She ran a big race at Goodwood in the Nassau last year.
“I was delighted for Cheveley Park – they deserve to be winning races like that.”
Stoute is also looking forward to running Crystal Ocean in the King George, but is under no illusion of the task facing his Prince Of Wales’s Stakes winner
He declared: “We’ll go for the King George.
“John’s filly (Enable) is a machine, and she’s going to be very hard to beat, but we’ll have a go.”
