Hermosa bids to follow-up former stable mate Winter, by adding the Coronation Stakes to triumphs in the English and Irish 1,000 Guineas.
The Aidan O’Brien runner headlines twelve fillies who have stood their ground for Friday’s Group One mile contest.
O’Brien has also left in Happen, Just Wonderful and So Perfect.
Happen narrowly won the Group Three Athasi Stakes at the Curragh last time, while Rockfel Stakes winner Just Wonderful has plenty to find with Hermosa on Classic runs.
So Perfect has the mile option here, but showed plenty of speed when winning the Group Three Lacken Stakes at Naas and could yet run in the Commonwealth Cup.
Michael Bell’s Pretty Pollyanna, ran a huge race when chasing home Hermosa on her seasonal debut, in the Irish 1,000 Guineas. She bids for revenge here.
Sir Michael Stoute’s unbeaten Jubiloso is the dark horse of the race, having made a big impression when winning a novice event at Newbury last month.
Godolphin’s French 1000 Guineas winner Castle Lady is in the reckoning for Henri-Alex Pantall, along with Watch Me – who finished in sixth behind her at ParisLongchamp.
Among other contenders are the Queen’s York Listed winner Magnetic Charm and John Gosden’s Twist ‘N’ Shake – who was second to her at York.
