Flash The Steel gave brothers Dan and Harry Skelton another big race victory in the Grade Three Cotswold Stone Supplies Ltd Silver Trophy Handicap Hurdle at Chepstow.

This always competitive race attracted a field of 17 over two-miles 3 ½ furlongs.

The Knot Is Tied, Chic Name and Remastered took the field along and quickly moved several lengths clear of Imperial Aura, with the field strung out.

Heading out into the country, the first three were three lengths clear of Imperial Aura, with a massive gap to the rest, as they headed into the back straight.

The Knot Is Tied continued to lead from Remastered, with Chic Name dropping a couple of lengths off this duo as Imperial Aura closed and the rest of the field drew much nearer.

At the last on the back, Remastered took over from Imperial Aura, as the early pace began to take its toll and the field closed-up completely.

Turning into the home straight, Remastered was under pressure and Imperial Aura and Indefatigable went on.

Two out and Imperial Aura led from the improving Flash The Steel, with Champagne Court and Indefatigable next.

But Flash The Steel and Harry Skelton pressed on between the final two flights and took the last three lengths clear, with Champagne Court trying to close.

However, Flash The Steel was home and hosed and passed the post two lengths up on Champagne Court, with Imperial Aura keeping on well for third.
