In a terrific brotherly fight, Sean Bowen mastered his brother James as Ballydine won the Betfred Mobiles Master Handicap Chase at Sandown Park.

There was drama at the first fence as Yala Enki and Cogry both fell, with both horses up quickly, but racing with the pack.

Loose Chips, that perennial front-runner, took the field along.

With a circuit to run, Loose Chips was still in front of Vino Griego, with Ballydine going well, but the loose Cogry causing problems.

Loose Chips and Paul O;Brien still led to the Railway Fences, with Ballydine and Vino Griego next and then the staying on Hollybush Henry, followed by Final Nudge and Sametegal.

At the Pond Fence for the final time, Loose Chips was under pressure and Vino Griego just led on landing from Ballydine.

Vino Griego went on two from home with Hollybush Henry and Ballydine.

Running to the last, Hollybush Henry landed in front of Ballydine, with the game Loose Chips coming back for more.

It all came down to stamina up the final hill and Ballydine and Sean Bowen just outstayed brother James on Hollybush Henry, with Loose Chips a brave third, ahead of Wicked Willy.
