Unbeaten Champion Chaser Altior, is set to face just three rivals in the Grade One Clarence House Chase at Ascot this Saturday.

The Nicky Henderson’s trained superstar, is unbeaten in 16 races, having extended that sequence in the Unibet Desert Orchid Chase at Kempton over Christmas.

He is set to face old rival Un De Sceaux, who is seeking a remarkable fourth successive win in this race, having finished four lengths behind Altior in the Tingle Creek Chase at Sandown Park, in December.

Fox Norton, a dual Grade One winner for Colin Tizzard in the spring of 2017, returns from a lengthy absence, while Diego Du Charmil was 19 lengths behind Altior in the Desert Orchid Chase.
