There was a notable success for Kieran Shoemark as Kurious won the Listed Scurry Stakes at Sandown Park.
A field of eight three year-olds went to post for this five-furlong contest on soft ground.
At the break it was Leodis Dream who led early on and was a length clear of Well Done Fox.
Leopdis Dream was joined at half way by Well Done Fox, with Kurious closing to the outside.
Well Done Fox led with 1 ½ furlongs to race, but Kurious went on at the furlong pole, challenged by Reticent Angel.
Kurious was a length clear and although challenged late on, got home from The Cruising Lord and Reticent Angel.
This was a welcome Listed success for trainer Henry Candy, but marked a return to the big time for jockey Kieran Shoemark, who returned recently from a drugs ban.
