The proven class of Who’s Steph proved decisive as she won the Group Three Munster Oaks Stakes at Cork.

Seven fillies and mares took part in this 1 ½ mile race.

Peach Tree and Jaega cut out the early running from Who’s Steph.

Down the back, Jaega almost joined Peach Tree, with a gap to Who’s Steph and Chablis.

The order remained the same, as the field left the back straight and headed for home.

Peach Tree and Seamie Heffernan were first to turn in and moved a couple of lengths clear with Who’s Steph and Chablis closing.

Inside the final quarter mile, Who’s Steph closed in and hit the front.

Peach Tree fought on, but inside the final furlong, Who’s Steph and Colin Keane asserted and passed the post just over a length clear of Peach Tree, with Moteo finishing fast to dispute third place with Chablis.
