Sinoria put a tough week behind Henry de Bromhead’s stable with a battling success in the Listed I.N.H. Stallion Owners EBF Novice Hurdle at Punchestown.
Seven went to post for this two-mile contest.
Prince D’Aubrelle led narrowly from stable mate La Sorelita at the first flight and this pair were ahead of Sinoria, as the septet moved down the home straight for the first time.
There was little change in the order, as the field reached the sixth flight, with Prince D’Aubrelle just ahead of La Sorelita and Sinoria, with Chosen Man close-up on the inside and then Tintangle.
The two Willie Mullins horses continued to set the tempo and raced to the second last, where the complexion of the race changed quickly.
Sinoria pressed on from Chosen Mate, while Tintangle took a horrible fall, but thankfully horse and rider were quickly up.
The front two went clear into the straight and Chosen Mate looked like going on.
At the last, Chosen Mate edged into the lead, but Rachael Blackmore galvanised another effort from Sinoria and the six year old mare battled back gamely to get her head in front.
The front two pulled well clear of Top Moon in third, with La Sorelita fourth.
