Robin De Carlow was patiently ridden to land the Grade Three Kerry Group Irish EBF Shannon Spray Mares Novice Hurdle at Limerick.
A field of 12 lined up for this 2 ¾ mile contest in very soft ground.
At the off it was Ifyoucatchmenow and Western Victory who set the early tempo from Agusta Gold and Gipsy Lee Rose.
Settling down, Western Victory moved into a clear lead as they finally reached the first flight.
By the sixth flight, there was little change in the order up front, with Western Victory leading Ifyoucatchmenow, while Gipsy Lee Rose disputed third with Cool Saint and then Agusta Gold, Sapphire Lady and Kilbarry Way.
Racing to the home straight, Ifyoucatchmenow went on with Kilbarry Way, as the long-time leader faded.
Two out and Ifyoucatchmenow landed in front but was quickly passed by Robin De Carlow who took the last well and went three lengths clear.
Well Set Up closed strongly on the run-in, but the line came just in time for Robin De Carlow and Ruby Walsh in what proved a desperately tight finish.
Agusta Gold was third, with Ifyoucatchmenow fourth.
It was a case of another day, another Graded victory for Gold Cup winning trainer Willie Mullins.
