Racing UK is auctioning a once-in-a-lifetime VIP experience at Ascot Racecourse over the course of the next week – and it’s all in aid of the Injured Jockeys Fund (IJF).
IJF funding is key in supporting Freddy Tylicki, who was left paralysed below the waist after a fall at Kempton Park on October 31, and many other riders whose lives need rebuilding, so we hope you will support this great cause.
The prize is for Summer Mile Raceday at Ascot on July 15 and includes:
- Admission, lunch, tea and complimentary bar in box hospitality for 18 guests
- FREE five-year Racing UK subscription (worth £1500)
- Walk the course with a top jockey before racing
- Behind the scenes tour of Ascot
- Tipster talk from Racing UK expert
- Betting vouchers
- Interviews on Racing UK (TV, digital and magazine)
Please bid generously by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Ruby Walsh, Racing UK ambassador and Irish IJF President, has filmed a video to encourage support and said: “Racing UK is asking for your help to raise a significant amount of money to support the great work that the Injured Jockeys Fund will be carrying out for Freddy and all the other jockeys who have suffered injuries over the years.
“As president of the Irish IJF I know what an amazing job these organisations are capable of and I hope you will support us in our bid to raise funds to help them.
“We have arranged for an amazing, VIP racing experience at Ascot to be put up for auction. This really is a great opportunity for a very special day out and you will be helping the fantastic work of the IJF. I hope you will dig deep to secure the prize.”
