Home Of The Brave is enjoying a short break ahead of a trip to America later in the year for the Breeders’ Cup.
Trainer Hugo Palmer is keen to keep the four-year-old fresh ahead of the two-day meeting at Santa Anita in November, where he holds entries in both the Mile and Turf Sprint.
After picking up victories on his first two starts of the season, the son of Starspangledbanner has found one too good in subsequent outings in the Lennox Stakes and most recently the Hungerford Stakes at Newbury.
Palmer said: “Home Of The Brave is going to America for the Breeders’ Cup. He is having a nice break.
“He ran well at Newbury and has come out of it really well. He has strengthened up again and it looks like he has improved.
“We are looking forward to going to Santa Anita. Hopefully we can get there in one piece.”
