The second LOKO TRANS European Jockey’s Cup that was held at Conseq Park, Prague proved to be a huge success with Czech champion jockey Bauyrzhan Murzabayev, representing his native Kazakhstan, seeing off his fifteen rivals to take the 5,000 Euro first prize.
Murzabayev won two of the nine races and with his two fouth places accumulated a total of 16 points to finish two points ahead of fellow Czech and Spanish champion jockey Vaclav Janacek, with French star jockey Gerald Mosse a further one point behind in third.
An estimated crowd of 7,000 witnessed an exciting day’s racing with a host of leading Europen jockeys on view and Managing Director Petr Drahos was delighted with the day’s events.
“A crowd this size at Conseq Park is really great for us to see and I think the day went really well” he told International Racing Bureau’s Director James Fry.
It is hoped that this event will now be a regular fixture in the Czech calendar.
